Whoops. But also, more buildings
I missed two days. Thursday I just was working too long and went to bed late and was too tired to make a post. Friday I just took a break from working on the game to play games instead. It was a long week of work.
I've been making progress on buildings for the town. I've iterated on the same shapes a few times, and started making pixel textures to apply to the shapes. I purchase a large number of low-poly assets that I will be applying pixel textures to in order to save time and round out the diversity of shapes I can use. The images attached to this log show some of the probuilder assets I've been putting together. My hope is to do a few more of these over the next few days and get more familiar with the process of working with probuilder, and get a better idea of the aesthetic I want to use for the textures themselves.
I would also like to make some NPC sprites to explore the aesthetic there and put some life in some of these buildings.
I might take a few days before making another of these because I feel like I'll be repeating myself a lot. I don't want this log to be a string of "I made more houses lol" posts.
